Like a Peaceful Hideaway in The Crowded Chinatown, Yokohama
Norizo Bakery is known to those in the know. It is secretly located in a back alley of Chinatown in Yokohama.
The cozy little bakery is decorated in modern Japanese style with original patisseries on Japanese traditional trays.
All breads and pastries are made from wheat flour grown in Hokkaido. The pastries are not only good looking but amazingly delicious.
You can tell they put their hearts and souls into making the best pastries for the customers.
Their Japanese style pastries (We call them "Sozai Pan") are unique like no others, such as Seaweed and baby sardine Croque monsieur, Seaweed Ham Roll.
Norizo Original Bread, Nori Ham Roll, *1
Norizo's name was spread through word of mouth among bread lovers because the owner refrains from being covered by major media. It seems he puts some thought into relationships with the repeaters and locals.
Soon after the shop opens at 9:00 in the morning locals and bread lovers fill the small bakery.
There are small tables outside of the shop for a small break time with fresh pastries you just bought.
Truly good value for money and "home-made" food just at the edge of Chinatown. Come and find your favorite among the original patisseries.
